I Trust...
The relationship between a life coach and a client is safeguarded in confidentiality and grounded in trust.
The client’s identity, relationship, and content of the sessions are strictly confidential.
The only exceptions are situations where the coach determines that such confidentiality may result in harm to client’s self, harm to others, abuse of children, older adults, or dependent adults of any age. The coach retains authority to disclose confidential information to appropriate civic authorities if the coach deems that the client is in danger or capable of endangering others.
NineWise Life & Leadership Coaching is not licensed by medical or psychological boards and is not a substitute for psychotherapy or medical practice. If a situation arises where in the coach’s opinion, medical or psychological intervention is needed for the client, the coach is ethically and legally bound to refer the client to a mental health or medical professional.
The Life Coach Client Service Agreement describes the partnership with the client on a journey of discovery, self-exploration, accountability, and follow through. The coach’s job is to help discover, plan, refine, and attain identified goals in the client’s life. The coach will help the client discover within themselves the beliefs or issues that are blocking the client from moving forward in achieving their goals. The life coach-client relationship is successful when the client feels safe and is able to be honest and transparent. With the coach operating from credentialed coaching models, the client is empowered to follow through with implementing the plans created during coaching sessions.
